CCV partnered with New York City’s beloved cultural organization Citylore to bring their mobile poetry project, Across the Great Divide, to the Galax Fiddler’s Convention from August 8-13, 2022. The mission of Across the Great Divide is to provide a voice for participants to express their own political and world views in a way that facilitates dialog, understanding and empathy. In today’s deeply polarizing political environment, families and friends are divided politically as never before in our lifetime. Across the Great Divide aims to set aside labels and find a way for us all to talk and listen to one another again.
